A few years ago - a neighbor and I were chatting about his new job. He was going through some growing pains in his new company -- very strict office hours, an open office dynamic, and the healthcare benefits were rather limiting. He remarked, "I wish I knew that before I accepted the role." His comment stuck with me.
My neighbor left the company about six months later. An utter lack of information and transparency meant a bad decision by the job seeker, and a bad outcome for the employer.
The idea of job seeker Q&A was born soon thereafter.
